Wesley Fachner, CPA, CMA, MST
For over 20 years, Wesley Fachner, CPA, CMA, MST, principal with Fachner & Layman, CPAs, Inc., has provided tax and accounting services to individuals, small businesses, and fiduciaries of estates and trusts. He received his Master’s of Taxation degree from San Jose State University and his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Montana. In February 2011, he successfully completed all parts of the Enrolled Agent exam.
Professionally, Wesley served nationally, regionally, and locally with the Institute of Management Accountants. As a member of the California Society of CPAs, the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council, and ElderCare Matters, he continues his education to stay current with today’s changing laws. Wesley generally receives over one hundred continuing education hours annually. In addition to lecturing to various groups on tax-related topics, he teaches tax classes at UCSC-Extension in Silicon Valley and served as the program coordinator.
Wesley actively volunteers service in his community as a Campbell Chamber of Commerce board member, San Jose Christian School CPTA Treasurer, HOA board member, and church musician (organ and clarinet). He is married and has one son.
Wesley is currently experiencing the challenges of aging parents. He empathizes with the difficult decisions family and friends must make for their loved ones. Recently, he began offering services to families targeted at seniors. These services are referred to as ElderCare. Through his talents, resources, and genuine concern for people, he strives to provide peace of mind for his clients.
