Carl San Miguel
Carl San Miguel, born in San Jose, raised in Santa Clara. After graduating from Santa Clara High, joined the Marine Corps in 1968. Upon his return from service in the military, started a career in the insurance industry and continued his education in college earning a degree in Business Administration with a minor in real estate. Carl eventually transition into full time real estate, serving both the residential and commercial communities and has enjoyed his profession for the past 38 years. He also earned a GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) designation covering income and commercial grade properties. In 1988 Carl earned his lifetime teaching credentials and taught in the Community College System in the field of real estate in the 80’s and 90’s. Carl continues to serve his industry by serving as a past President including serving as a Director on the Local and State associations and serves as both a past National Director on the National Board of Realtors. Some of his duties on the State level have been serving on the Professional Standard committee addressing Code of Ethics, Contract law serving on the Forms committee developing statewide forms to use in the purchase and leasing of real estate and Business opportunities acquisitions. Produces a weekly real estate statistic on value and market trends. Has written many articles on business and real estate regulations affecting both business and real estate. Served as President of both the Santa Clara County Association of Realtors and the Campbell of Chamber and continues to be active regarding legislative issues affecting both real estate and chamber business. Carl is owner of a boutique real estate firm located in Campbell specializing in real estate sales, leasing, managing and the financing of real estate.
